Baja Pet Rescue - May spay campaign report: This month, Baja Pet Rescue in partnership with Veterinarian Animalejos completed two spay campaigns in El Triunfo, one on May 11th and one on May 25th. Our goal was to complete 60 sterilizations over two campaigns, and we are happy to report we completed 48!
Here are the stats: 20 cats, including 4 who were pregnant and one treated for pyometra. 28 dogs, including 3 pregnant and 1 in heat.
Our May 11th spay day was sponsored by Ali Marcozzi, and our May 25th spay day was sponsored by Sonni and Cindy Hammer-Fritz! We are looking for sponsors for our summer spay campaigns. No Más Basura - Recycling Center - Next recycling date will be Thursday, June 5th from 8:00 to 10:00 am, located here. Low season schedule; every other Thursday. No recycling May 29th nor June 12th! Here is what we recycle: all Plastics (including caps, wrappers, and bags!), Glass Bottles (broken too!), Aluminum cans, Metals (including metal caps), Packaging Styrofoam, Batteries, Cork, Cigarette Butts (in DRY PET bottle), and 5 gallon water jugs.
