Observing the Reef: Starfish Diversity in La Ventana Bay - This video, Starfish of La Ventana Bay, shows the amazing biodiversity within this class of Marine Invertebrates known as Starfish or Sea Stars, showing morphological differences in size, color and design between each species. The video utilizes post production time-lapse to show how starfish move across the sea floor with an army of legs. Click here to see video. No Más Basura - Recycling Center: Next recycling date will be Thursday, June 5th and the next will be the 19th from 8:00 to 10:00 am, located here. Low season schedule; every other Thursday. No recycling June 12th or 26th! Here is what we recycle: all Plastics (including caps, wrappers, and bags!), Glass Bottles (broken too!), Aluminum cans, Metals (including metal caps), Packaging Styrofoam, Batteries, Cork, Cigarette Butts (in DRY PET bottle), and 5 gallon water jugs.
